Lisa is an actress, audio drama director and photographer.

Trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and working extensively in theatre, TV and radio – she’s diversified over the years into photography and directing for audio drama.

Lisa’s appeared in a wide range of theatre and television productions, played a regular character in the first two series of BBC’s Casualty, been an alien in BBC’s Doctor Who – and has recently been recognised as the longest running titled character in any audio/radio series – having played the eponymous heroine Bernice Summerfield in the Doctor Who spin-off series The Adventures of Professor Bernice Summerfield, for Big Finish audio, for 20 years.

NEWS – Lisa recently filmed the short The Pride of Atticus Lee, starring Julian Glover & Vernon Dobtcheff for Pathos Films – which is due for release,  and also appeared recently in readings for the Soho Theatre Comedy Project, and the Farnham Rep Company –  and appeared last year in two sell-out runs of a new political play – An Honourable Man, by Michael McManus –  at The White Bear, Kennington.  Other recent work includes 2 episodes of BBC’s Doctors, and a major revival of the lost J. B. Priestley play The Roundabout, playing Lady Kettlewell,  at The Park Theatre, London, which also transferred to New York, as part of the Brits off Broadway season at 59E59 Theater.



Lisa has also been a prolific audio drama director, working mainly for Big Finish Productions. Recent work has included Doctor WhoSapphire & Steel, Graceless, Blake’s 7, and  Jago & Litefoot.



Lisa is also a professional photographer, and has been in business for well over two decades.  Specialising in Spotlight head-shots and production photographs as well as other commissions.
